When things don't go right and I'm feeling sad (about art), I simply remember a few of my favorite things and then I don't feel so bad (about art anymore). Working with paper really does make me feel better, it's liberating, and satisfying. I guess that's no surprise since I'm a print maker!
This one is about Norway even though there is hanzi in it. Norway is also one of my favorite things - hanzi's not so bad either.
This one is about breaking the rules for beauty's sake - watch out tangent Nazis. Beauty triumphs again.
All of these collages have straight edges in real life. It's my camera that is causing the bending of the edges. Do I need a better camera? A tripod doesn't seem to help. What is the best way to solve this, pleases let me know!
how big is the art work? If small enough then just scan it. if it is too big then take a pic from farther away and then the tripod would help not getting a blurry pic when you zoom in. then crop it in photoshop. hope this might help.
